In a recent sold-out event, Union Station Homeless Services hosted “Evening for the Station: A Night of Magic” at the Rose in Pasadena. The event began with a sponsors’ reception featuring close-up magic by Mike Caveney and David Kovac, followed by stage performances by Rob Zabrecky, Ardan James and Tina Lenert.
Attended by more than 350 community, business and civic leaders, including state Sen. Anthony Portantino and Assemblyman Chris Holden, the event raised nearly $115,000 to help Union Station rebuild lives and end homelessness.
Union Station board member Robert Levy said, “As a local businessman, we owe so much to the work and services that Union Station provides our communities. As a leader in the business community, I strongly feel it’s vital that we show our support to Union Station, which aids individuals and families that are experiencing homelessness in our city and the surrounding regions. Thank you to everyone who supported Union Station and this event, and for your decision to be part of the solution.”
