Young & Healthy’s annual fundraiser, with a golf theme inspired by the 1980s movie “Caddyshack,” was held on Saturday evening at the La Cañada Flintridge Country Club to raise money to help connect underserved children with free medical, dental and mental health care. Approximately 250 guests enjoyed silent and live auctions, cocktails and dinner. Dr. Janice DaVolio and Dr. Seth Vaccaro of Huntington Dermatology Group received the J. Donald Thomas Award. The DiMassa family, proprietors of the popular Summerkids Camp, was recognized with Young & Healthy’s Alliance Award.
Carrie Walker and Cristina Navarrete served as the event co-chairs, and Allison Dietrick, Linda Hooke, Jean Pisano and Kathleen P. Talbot were committee members. Jason Lyon is the Young & Healthy board president; Mary Donnelly-Crocker is the Pasadena-based organization’s executive director.
