Maranatha High School recently presented its spring musical, “The Wizard of Oz,” along with the school’s first annual Arts Festival, “Over the Rainbow: A Visual Journey.” Guests were able to stroll through a tent exhibiting fantasy art created by Maranatha students and, inside the school’s Student Center, to enjoy an Oz Interactive hosted by the wizard himself. Families took photos with the wizard on the yellow brick road, doodled on the doodle art mural, and made wishes known on the rainbow chat board. Once each person’s journey through the Land of Oz ended, they clicked their heels three times and arrived inside the Ambassador Auditorium to watch the spectacular musical, presented by a cast and crew of 50 Maranatha performing arts students.
