Villa Esperanza’s annual fundraising gala, known as Blue & White, was held at the Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena recently with the theme “There’s No Place Like Villa.” Jayne and Ken Parsons were honored with the 22nd annual Guardian Angel Award. Event committee members were Devon Cole, Kathy Cunningham, Susan Jackson, Lia Peterson Miller, Marcie Robinson, Maryann Seduski, Liz Seitz and Melissa Wu.
Cocktail hour included a silent auction, photo booth, wine draw and art gallery exhibiting of art created by Villa’s children and adults. Guests could purchase artwork to take home. Dinner included a program, live auction and paddle raise. All event proceeds benefit the diverse programs that Villa provides for children, adults and seniors with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
