Northern Trust in Pasadena recently hosted its popular event “The Morning Scoop With Diane Rankin,” featuring the “Treasures Roadshow,” in which invited guests were able to have cherished heirlooms analyzed and appraised by Joe Baratta of Abell Auction Co. The program took place at Northern Trust’s Office on South Lake Avenue in Pasadena.
In addition to learning the value of their treasures, guests were informed by Baratta and Rankin about ways to structure their estates and wealth transfer plans so that such heirlooms can be enjoyed by future generations. They discussed how to manage complex estates and avoid family conflict. Rankin regularly works with families and their advisers to ensure that wealth transfer plans are fully realized as intended.
