Casa kicked off a yearlong celebration of its 50th anniversary at the NBC4 Southern California Colleen Williams Charity Golf Tournament, which was held at the San Gabriel Country Club. NBC4 and its anchor Colleen Williams have been supporting Casa Treatment Center for more than 20 years through the annual charity golf tournament.
Over the years, the event has raised more than $1 million for Pasadena-based Casa, which provides women struggling with addiction the opportunity to transform their lives. The support has been instrumental in enabling Casa to hire additional clinical staff, develop new programs and improve the quality of care provided to women seeking recovery.
In addition to golf, guests enjoyed bidding on live and silent auction items, which included vacations, sports tickets, art, a smart TV and more. The golf committee was led by Monty Bernstein and Lucy Mao.
