More than 300 guests recently celebrated Bishop David O’Connell’s 40 years of priesthood service at a special “Blarney and Blessings” gathering at the local residence of Mary and Bill Urquhart. Attendees enjoyed dinner and an evening of entertainment, with all proceeds benefitting Bishop O’Connell’s fund for evangelism and Catholic education. Cathy Taylor chaired the event. Committee members included Alex Carver, Erika Foy, Michele Hall, Angela Howell, Nancy Juarez, James McAndrews, Nancy McCullough, Mary and Patrick Nally, Sergio Perez, Tom Rowan, Mary and Bill Urquhart, Sylvia Woodson and Joe Zanetta.
