About 150 young ones ranging from K-6th grade began their first day of the new year recently at Walden School. In the upper and lower yards for the older and younger grades, parents gathered to see their kids off and meet the new teachers. While the parents mingled, upper and lower school kids were able to reunite and catch up after their summer adventures. Terra Toscano, Walden’s head of school, welcomed many of the students in both yards before 8:30 a.m.
