The Yes, Virginia Classy & Sassy Luncheon and Boutique recently kicked off the holiday season at the Altadena Town & Country Club. The event honored Diana Rafeedie-Nofal, the longtime chair of the Yes, Virginia luncheon committee, and raised more than $60,000 for the Yes, Virginia Fund, which supports local children in need at Christmas. With the proceeds from this year’s luncheon, the fund reached its endowment goal, and will continue to make its holiday grants every year for decades to come. Since 1994, the Yes, Virginia Fund has granted more than $320,000 to local nonprofit agencies to provide Pasadena’s children with toys, books, gifts and special experiences during the holidays.
