Hathaway-Sycamores Child and Family Services 11th Annual Celebrating Children Spring Gala fundraiser will be held virtually this year.
Peter Daut, a television news anchor for the ABC affiliate in Palm Springs and who has also worked at KCBS and KCAL in Los Angeles, will emcee the festivities with inspiring stories, surprise guests and a silent auction all in support of programs and services for the vulnerable population served by the agency.
Guests at the March 13 event will also enjoy a special appearance by Davis Gaines, Broadway actor best known for his performance in Los Angeles’ long-running “Phantom of the Opera.” The event will be held from 6-7 p.m. Free tickets are available to the virtual gala in addition to purchased tickets and sponsorship opportunities.
“This past year has been challenging for everyone and we are ready for a celebration,” Debra Manners, president and CEO of Hathaway-Sycamores, said in a news release. “We are truly excited to host this event as a virtual experience this year and share it with a wider community than we would be able to with an in-person gala.”
