Family, alumnae, faculty and staff, and friends gathered on June 8 for the commencement ceremony of the Westridge Class of 2018. Westridge alumna and 2018 U.S. Women’s Olympic Bobsled Silver Medalist Lauren Gibbs presented the commencement address.
In opening remarks, Westridge Head of School Elizabeth McGregor called on the graduates to “take your ‘best bold selves,’ your powers of determination and reflection, and your understanding of what is right and what you value, out into the world to make the difference you — we — need to see.”
The 78 members of the graduating class will attend 54 colleges and universities across 21 states, the District of Columbia, Canada and France.
