Muse/ique’s inaugural summer at the Huntington Library concluded recently with “U.S./Routes,” the ultimate musical road trip featuring legendary traveling partners Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, James Brown, Jackie Wilson and Frank Sinatra, as well as the American Ballet Theater and Twyla Tharp’s life-changing choreography. The evening of music and memories emphasized what makes each corner of the country special and showcased that life’s most memorable moments and places are often set to music.
