Santa Anita Park’s 100 to 1 Club Grand Opening

Santa Anita Park has a new gem for upscale clientele — its 100 to 1 Club — which combines panoramic views of the entire racetrack with sophisticated lounge-style seating, live tellers and private bar. It held a special event to showcase the space, which Santa Anita is making available to rent for special events, including birthday parties, fundraisers for local nonprofit organizations and cocktail parties.
“This is perfect for client entertainment and cocktail parties,” said Alison Gerali Wright, Santa Anita Park’s director of sales. “It is a really unique setting and atmosphere. The style is very Solo House meets Ralph Lauren. It has a great feel with iconic 1930s architecture.”
Perched three floors above Santa Anita’s fabled first turn, the 100 to 1 Club puts attendees right on top of the action and provides a stunning view of races run below at 40 miles per hour.
Private parties, which can accomodate up to 75 people, include food stations and buffet, a private bar area, outdoor covered seating, private wagering and the finest amenities.
Menu choices include grilled flat iron steak, a chef-sautéed shrimp scampi station, three-cheese tortellini, kale Caesar salad, Italian pasta salad, fresh fruit, artisan meat cheese with crostini and lavosh, hummus and crudité. Breakfast offerings include bacon, egg and cheese croissants, fruit yogurt granola parfait and assorted pastries. There is also a private bar that serves mixed drinks, beer and wine, soft drinks and more.
The 100 to 1 Club was formerly a dive bar one block away from the race track. The city of Arcadia tore down the bar; Santa Anita Park obtained the sign and refurbished it and opened the 100 to 1 Club on the third floor of the race track. Bryan Carney was the original owner of the 100 to 1. Pavel Getov served as the architect of the new space.
