Lower School students at Westridge raised awareness, as well as money, for animal care when they brought their pets to school for the annual Petridge event. Students set up booths where others could buy food, play games or read homemade posters on such topics as the importance of spaying and neutering pets and the harm caused by declawing cats. All proceeds from the event were donated to the Pasadena Humane Society.
