As the 2017-18 year kicks into high gear, the Friends of Foothill Family held an intimate gathering to welcome new members at a gathering planned by membership chairs Annelise Dachel and Monica Schmid and hosted at the home of Christine Muller and John Swanson.
New Friends actively learn more about Foothill Family through immersion with the planning and execution of significant projects in full swing, such as “Making Seasons Brighter” (the annual holiday program) and “Under the Big Top” (the annual benefit in March).
The Friends of Foothill Family is a volunteer guild that supports the agency’s mission to build brighter futures for children and families in the community. Their gifts of time, talent and treasure through the above mentioned projects, as well as Backpacks for Brighter Futures in the summer, position them as generous ambassadors for Foothill Family in the community.
