ChapCare, a federally qualified health center, recently hosted its annual Holiday Extravaganza for hundreds of children and their families. Refreshments were offered at the event held at the Lincoln Health Center, where Santa Claus posed for pictures with kids and each child received a toy to take home. There were crafts, drawing stations and face painting, as well.
The event was sponsored by the Pasadena Community Foundation, “Sesame Street,” California Pizza Kitchen and BJ’s Restaurant.
ChapCare says the Lincoln Health Center is the only “child health home” in the northwest San Gabriel Valley where children can access a full complement of primary health-care services under one roof.
