The Pasadena Art Alliance recently held a cocktail party at the Hillenburg home to honor the artists who generously donated their work for PAA’s 2018 art auction last spring. Sixty-one artists enjoyed the evening with members of the alliance, whose purpose is to foster appreciation for contemporary visual arts in Southern California by supporting artists, exhibitions, educational programs and art-based nonprofit institutions.
Proceeds raised by PAA go to its grants and Impact Award programs. Created in 2016 to commemorate the alliance’s 60th anniversary, the Impact Award honors excellence in visual contemporary art education that affects youth.
Over the years, PAA has given more than $6 million to support the arts.
